摘要

[PROBLEMS] To provide a technique effective to enhance stability of the entire airbag device and to improve the degree of layout freedom of the airbag device. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The airbag device includes an airbag having a bag body formed by joining pieces of base cloth and installed in a seat of an automobile so as to expand to above the head of an occupant when inflated, an inflator for supplying pressure fluid for inflating and expanding the airbag, a pipe member (20) for interconnecting the airbag and the inflator, a mounting part (M) for restraining and fixing a laterally horizontal part (20b) of the pipe member (20) to the inflator with the use of a pipe support piece (50) and a clamp band (B), and a retainer for receiving and holding the airbag.
