<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which a three-phase interface of an electrolyte membrane, an electrode catalyst, and an active material is widened, and output is enabled to be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode catalyst membrane containing a catalyst to oxidize a supplied fuel is arranged on one face of a solid electrolyte membrane of proton conductivity. On the other face, a positive electrode catalyst membrane having oxygen as an active material and containing a catalyst causing a reduction reaction is arranged. A fuel supplying means supplies the fuel to the negative electrode catalyst. At least one of the negative electrode catalyst membrane and the positive electrode catalyst membrane contains a fiber to contain the catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
