<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, since a silver metal film-based surface treatment is carried out to a reflector and an extension in this kind of conventional vehicular lamp, much difference is not created between them in terms of design, and they resultantly make monotonous images. <P>SOLUTION: By using this coloring method of an extension characterized by forming a film at a thickness not larger than 10 nm directly on a resin base material by a spattering method by using an alloy material containing pure iron or iron not smaller than 70%, and carrying out toning by heat-treating it below the melting point of the resin base material, a black to dark blue extension can be provided, and made it to be clearly distinguished from the reflector by a simple manufacturing means, whereby improvement of design and cost reduction can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
