<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the clutch motion in a brake-side clutch. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch unit comprises a lever-side clutch provided at the input side to control transmitting/intercepting the rotational torque to the output side by lever operation, and the brake-side clutch 12 provided at the output side to transmit the input torque from the lever-side clutch to the output side and intercept the reverse input torque from the output side. The brake-side clutch 12 is provided with an output shaft 24 from which a torque is output, and a brake-side outer ring 22 in which the rotation is restricted. The output shaft 24 is disposed radially inward of the brake-side outer ring 22. Multiple projections 24c are disposed circumferentially of the outer diameter of the output shaft 24.
