<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a smooth start of a vehicle via a twin clutch type transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The twin clutch type transmission consists of two first and second input shafts, one output shaft, two first and second friction clutches 12, 13 mounted between each of the input shafts and an engine, a first shift gear mechanism for actualizing a first speed stage connected to the first input shaft via a power engageable/disengageable synchronizing device, and a second shift gear mechanism for actualizing a second speed stage connected to the second input shaft via a power engageable/disengageable synchronizing device. At starting the vehicle, the first shift gear mechanism and the second shift gear mechanism are previously set for the first speed stage and for the second speed stage, respectively. The friction clutches are controlled depending on a torque capacity required for starting it and ratios R1, R2 while sharing transmission torque with the first and second friction clutches 12, 13 at the required ratios R1, R2 and setting the torque capacity required for starting it separately for each of the friction clutches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
