<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setup input device in which a user easily knows an operation change amount and an operation position by sound and regardless of use conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The setup input device is provided with: a stepless input means 1 for continuous operation input of a variable resistor or the like; a step value conversion means 3 for converting the continuous input of the stepless input means to a stepwise setup output value, a reporting means 7 for emitting sound; and a control means 6 for commanding the reporting means 7 to report according to the output of the step value conversion means 3. The control means 6 issues the command to repeat prescribed reporting for the number of steps wherein the stepwise setup output value is changed by the step value conversion means 3 to the reporting means 7. Thus, the operation change amount and the operation position are obtained by the sound and they are easy to understand for all users regardless of the use conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
