<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having sufficiently stable wiring function and come-off prevention function, without being degraded in the impedance in connecting and fixing a contact and a conductor of a cable. <P>SOLUTION: For the case of this connector 10, when respective conductors 2a of two flat cables 2 are arranged along the wall surfaces of respective substantially U-shaped groove parts 6 formed on a cover insulator 4, and the respective conductors 2a are connected, by substantially U-shaped wiring parts 1b in respective contacts 1, by sandwiching them between the wall surfaces of the groove parts 6 and them, a local part of each conductor 2a is deformed, such that a projecting part 1c formed on the wiring part 1b, having elasticity so as to bite into a recessed part 4a formed on the wall surface of the groove part 6 of the cover insulator 4 to be inserted, fit, connected and holds the conductor; and the connector is assembled, by pressing in a base insulator 3 such that a contact part 1a of each contact 1 is inserted into each insertion hole of the base insulator 3 provided with the insertion holes for inserting the pin-like contact parts 1a of the respective contacts 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
