PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise filter and a switching power source which are capable of reducing noise of a switching frequency or its harmonic components and can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The noise filter for attenuating high frequency noise, which is disposed on at least one of the input side and the output side of a primary side rectification circuit of a switching power supply circuit, consists of only an element using piezoelectric resonance, namely, a plate piezoelectric element 21 which is inserted in parallel to the primary side rectification circuit.
