PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevents harmful light from reaching an imaging element by attaining a light-shield configuration so as to be incorporable in a narrow area, and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A light-shield member 21 is disposed on the imaging element side of a shutter device 15. The light-shield member 21 has the shape of a flat face where a light shield part in the form of a flat plate, which serves as a principal body, crosses almost perpendicular to an optical axis. This member 21 is disposed in close contact with the flat face to which the optical axis of the imaging element side of the shutter device 15 crosses almost perpendicular. A cam ring 8 is engaged with the flat plate-like light-shield part of the light-shield member 21. When the cam ring 8 is rotated around the optical axis, the rotating operation is transmitted and the light-shield member 21 is also rotated around the optical axis. The light-shield part of the light-shield member 21 has the form of an almost annular shape, and covers or uncovers the escape opening 15a of the shutter device 15 and the escape opening 12a of the second lens group (lens holding frame) 12 by rotating.
