PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine in which the width of a whole air intake passage can be reduced in a crank shaft direction. SOLUTION: Viewed from a combustion chamber 24d side of each cylinder, an upstream side part f1u of an axial line f1' of an intake port 24H is inclined so as to be positioned at an opposite side of a shaft end of a crankshaft 21 from a downstream side part f1d.
