PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method capable of preventing construction cost from rising even if the distance between a ground surface and a sliding surface is large and surely solidifying the sliding surface. SOLUTION: An approach tunnel 14 is excavated from a ground surface 13 toward a sliding surface 11. A main tunnel 15 is excavated from the leading end of the approach tunnel 14 along the sliding surface 11. The main tunnel 15 and the approach tunnel 14 are closed by filling them with concrete 16, 17, respectively. When the tunnels are closed by the concrete, the sliding surface can be surely solidified. When the distance between the ground surface and the sliding surface is large, the approach tunnel is extended. Consequently, the construction cost can be prevented from rising.
