The invention relates to a method and a system for using a thermal measuring method to determine the gas pressure in a vacuum element or an evacuated body comprising sheathing and a lug on the exterior, said lug being delimited by two film faces that are interconnected in the region of the free edge of the lug. The claimed system is characterised both in that the chamber between the two film faces of the lug communicates with the chamber inside the sheathing of the vacuum element and is at least partially filled with an open-pored, thin material layer and by a unit for measuring the gas-pressure dependent heat-transfer coefficient of the lug in the region of the material layer. The invention also relates to the operating method for said measuring device. |
