<p>The present invention provides a self-cooling type waterproof motor pump in which a motor frame (4), which has a spiral groove (31) in a circumferential outer surface thereof, is installed in a water jacket (3) such that water that moves along the spiral groove eliminates heat generated from the motor, thus preventing the malfunction of the motor attributable to overheating, extending the lifetime of the motor, and increasing the efficiency of the motor. To achieve the above purpose, an inlet port is provided in the lower end of the water jacket, and an outlet port is provided in the upper end of the water jacket. As well, the spiral groove is formed in the outer surface of the motor frame such that fluid drawn into the inlet port is rotated and moved upwards along the spiral groove before being discharged through the outlet port.</p> |
