<p>An imager (10) of an imaging system (100) has sensors for detecting the dosage of radiation passing through a breast during radiography and transmits sensor data indicating the output value of each sensor to a controller (30) over a network (N). The controller (30) acquires the mammary gland content corresponding to the output value of each sensor from the sensor data transmitted from the imager (10), judges the breast type on the basis of the average mammary gland content and the distribution state of the mammary gland content, and sets an image processing condition according to the result of the judgment of the breast type. Under the set image processing condition, the image data acquired from a reader (20) is subjected to image processing.</p> |
