<p>A radiation sensitive resin composition is provided to form color filters causing no pick-up phenomenon at a high yield, and to realize high sensitivity and solubility of a dried coating layer to a solvent. A radiation sensitive resin composition comprises: (A) a colorant; (B) an alkali-soluble resin; (C) a multifunctional monomer; and (D) a radiation-sensitive radical generator, wherein the alkali-soluble resin includes one obtained by leaving radical polymerization of polymerizable unsaturated compounds and having a weight average molecular weight(Mw) of 1,000-45,000 as measured by GPC using polystyrene standards, and the radical generator includes a compound represented by the formula 1 and/or 2. In formulae 1 and 2, R1 represents a C1-C20 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl or phenyl; each of R2 and R3 represents H, a C1-C20 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, optionally substituted phenyl or C7-C20 monovalent alicyclic group(except cycloalkyl); each R4 represents a C4-C20 monovalent oxygen-containing heterocyclic group, C4-C20 monovalent nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group, or C4-C20 monovalent sulfur-containing heterocyclic group; each R5 is H, a C1-C12 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, C1-C12 alkoxy or C3-C8 cycloalkyloxy; each n is an integer of 1-5; each m is an integer of 0-5, with the proviso that (n+m) is equal to or less than 5; and p is an integer of 0-6.</p> |
