POLYTHIOURETHANE POLYMERIZATION CATALYST, POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME AND OPTICAL MATERIAL OBTAINED FROM THE SAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition which does not contain an organic tin catalyst, does not need the addition of a conventional internal mold release agent, and gives a polythiourethane resin suitably used as an optical transparent resin.

SOLUTION: A polymerization catalyst contains both an amine compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1, R2, R3are each independently H or a monovalent or more valent linear aliphatic, branched aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic organic residue which may contain one or more hydroxyl groups or amino groups, or R1, R2, R3may be each bound to each other to form a ring) and a sulfonic acid represented by general formula (2) [(n) is an integer of 1 or 2; R4is a monovalent or more valent linear aliphatic, branched aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic organic residue which may contain one or more hydroxyl groups or amino groups], does not contain a conventional organic tin compound having been used as a catalyst for polythiourethane resins, does not need the addition of a conventional internal mold release agent, and can give polythiourethane resins suitably used as optical transparent resins.
