<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for ink jet recording, which uses a black ink containing a black dye as a colorant, is excellent in plain paper surface abrasion resistance, prevents the unnatural appearances of black ink-printed portions, also after printed record images are faded, can hold the ink itself in a good storage stability state, and holds good water resistance on recorded images. <P>SOLUTION: This ink set for ink jet recording, comprising a yellow dye ink containing a yellow dye, a magenta dye ink containing a magenta dye, a cyan dye ink containing a cyan dye, and a black ink, is characterized in that the black ink contains a black pigment, and the yellow dye, the magenta dye, and the cyan dye used in the ink set, and the weight ratio of the content of the black pigment in the black ink to the total content of the yellow dye, the magenta dye, and the cyan dye in the black ink is 95:5 to 70:30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
