<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming an image of high picture quality by preventing electrostatic charging unevenness and deterioration of an image carrier, and a gas flow generating device which is provided on the same. <P>SOLUTION: Air is taken in by an air intake fan 63 and sent into respective chargers 5 from an air intake duct 61 through respective ducts 61a to 61d for connection. The air sent into the respective chargers 5 is sent out by an exhaust fan 65 toward an exhaust duct 62 through respective ducts 62a to 62d for connection to pass through an ozone filter 64, and discharged from the exhaust fan 65. The number of revolution of the air intake fan 63 and exhaust fan 65 is controlled so that the intake air speed is faster than the exhaust air speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
