<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor converting a color area such that a color-blind person can distinguish the color while obtaining an original color before the conversion, without hindering original image display. <P>SOLUTION: The color area in an image is decided by an area decision part 32 (YES in step 102), and hue of the color of the color area is decided by a hue decision part 34. When the color of the color area is a chromatic color (YES in step 103), a direction corresponding to the hue is decided in reference to a hue conversion table 33 (hue conversion) (step 104).
