<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic image display environment using a photo-addressable electronic paper (e-paper) technique. <P>SOLUTION: A system 200 includes an e-Surface (electronic surface) 210 situated in a room environment a projector 250 situated for projecting images onto the electronic-Surface 210; a camera 260 situated to picture the room environment; a central processor 270 coupled to the e-Surface 210, the projector 250 and the camera 260. The central processor 270 receives pictures from the camera 260 for detecting the location of the e-Surface 210 and controls the projector 250 to aim its projection beam onto the e-Surface 210. The e-Surface 210 is a sheet-like surface having the property of accepting optically projected image, when powered, and retaining the projected image even after the power is turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
