<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment capable of suppressing degradation in communication quality even when a state of a propagation line to the radio communication equipment is suddenly changed due to the high-speed movement of the radio communication equipment of a communication destination or an object existing around the radio communication equipment of the communication destination. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment adaptively controls the directivity of a transmission radio signal on the basis of a received radio signal received from counter radio communication equipment of the communication destination by using a plurality of element antennas 101_1 to 101_n. The radio communication equipment is provided with a transmission control part for processing a transmission radio signal according to a first control method for adaptively controlling the directivity, a propagation line state detection part for detecting a variation state of the propagation line to the counter radio communication equipment and a judgment part 106 for judging whether the directivity is to be changed or not on the basis of the variation state of the propagation line.
