PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leakage of an operating fluid from a breather plug by accurately determining the state of the operating fluid in an automatic transmission.

SOLUTION: An ECT_ECU carries out a program including steps of: receiving an oil temperature and engine speed (S100); computing an agitation count value (S102); determining that overheat countermeasure control is under execution (S104); determining that the agitation count value is a predetermined value (1) or more when an overheat countermeasure is not under execution (S106); determining that control execution permission conditions are established (S108); carrying out overheat countermeasure control (S110); determining that the agitation count value is a predetermined value (2) or less when overheat countermeasure control is under execution (S112); determining that control end permission conditions are established (S114); and terminating overheat countermeasure control (S116).
