ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING MATERIAL, COAXIAL CABLE USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE COAXIAL CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube-like electromagnetic wave shielding material used as a cable shielding material which can be reduced in weight, diameter and thickness and has superior mass productivity and superior repeated bending durability.

SOLUTION: A tube-like molding comprising fibers of a precursor of a vinyl-based conductive polymer is molded and treated with heat, and the fibers of the precursor is left, to form a tube-like electromagnetic wave shielding material comprising vinyl-based conductive polymer fibers, represented by general Formula (2). In the Formula (2), R1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon or a heterocyclic hydrocarbon and R2 is a leaving group.
