PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper having improved flexibility without damaging wiping performance and low dusting properties. SOLUTION: The paper wiper having a unit weight of 25-35 g/m<SP>2</SP>is produced by forming crepe by dry creping. A pulp stock obtained by blending 70-100 wt.% of NBKP (needle-leaf tree bleached kraft pulp) is used, and the freeness of the pulp slurry is reduced by 20-100 cc by beating at the papermaking. A fatty acid ester-based softener of 0.05-0.2% based on the pulp weight is added to the pulp slurry. The crepe ratio is regulated so as to be 20-40% at the creping, and the contact angle of a creping doctor is regulated so as to be 115-140°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
