PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and imaging apparatus capable of sharing use conditions for each user among devices (apparatuses). SOLUTION: A storage unit 13a is made to correspond to stores the photographic condition information indicative of photographic conditions and user information. On the basis of photographic condition information, corresponding to user information input from a photographer information input unit 12, an image processing/control unit 14 analyzes the tendency of photographing by the user, and based on a result of the analysis, functions relating to photographing are controlled. A data IF unit 13b includes a function which communicates with other device to transfer (transmit) data that are stored in the storage unit 13a to the other device, and a function which receives data from the other device and transfers the received data to the storage unit 13a.
