PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio channel selection method with interference from other channels taken into consideration. SOLUTION: A specific communication device determines a method for calculating an interference influence degree showing degrees of influences of interference channels on available radio channels (use candidate channels) and receives signals of all the use candidate channels and measures and stores signal intensities of respective channels and reads out stored signal strength (interference signal strength) of all the interference channels per use candidate channel and calculates degrees of interference influences on the basis of the interference influence degree calculation method determined in an interference influence degree calculation method determination step by using respective interference signal strength and selects maximum degrees of interference influences from degrees of interference influences of interference channels, which are calculated in the interference influence degree calculation step, per use candidate channel and uses degrees of interference influences selected per use candidate channel in the interference influence degree selection step, to select a use candidate channel giving the minimum degree of the interference influence.
