PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner in which the generation of band stripes in an image of portions corresponding to both ends of a developing unit is prevented. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains a binder resin, a colorant and an external additive, in which the external additive includes first external additive particles consisting of an inorganic material having an average particle diameter of≥1 to <20 nm, second external additive particles having an average particle diameter of≥20 to <50 nm and consisting of an inorganic material larger than the first external additive particles, third external additive particles having an average particle diameter of≥50 nm and consisting of an inorganic material larger than the second external additive particles, and fourth external additive particles. The fourth external additive particles are composed of the inorganic material having the average particle diameter of≥500 nm and/or the organic material having the average particle diameter larger than the third external additive particles.
