PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development capable of forming an infrared absorbing image which satisfies both of invisibility (low recognizability by human vision) and readability, a developer for electrostatic charge image development using the same, a developer cartridge for electrostatic charge image development, an image forming apparatus, and a recorded object. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development satisfies one of the following conditions (1)-(3); (1): 30%≤(100-R)≤50% and L<SB>A</SB>-3.5≤L<SB>B</SB>≤L<SB>A</SB>, (2): 50%<(100-R)<75% and L<SB>A</SB>-0.32×(100-R)+12.5≤L<SB>B</SB>≤L<SB>A</SB>, (3): (100-R)≥75% and L<SB>A</SB>-11.5≤L<SB>B</SB>≤L<SB>A</SB>, wherein L<SB>A</SB>represents the L value of a recording medium surface before image formation; L<SB>B</SB>represents the L value of an image portion of a fixed image formed on the recording medium surface using the toner; and R is infrared reflectance (%) of the image portion at a wavelength of 850 nm.
