PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide false-twist textured yarn comprising extrafine fibers, good in island component separability and quality and having a combination of soft touch and suede feeling. SOLUTION: The false-twist textured yarn comprises sea-island-type conjugate fibers composed of two kinds of polymers of different solubilities and obtained by conjugating the readily soluble polymer as the sea component and the sparingly soluble polymer as the island component each other in terms of fiber cross section, wherein the weight ratio of the sea component to the island component is (40:60) to (10:90). The false-twist textured yarn simultaneously meets the following requirements(A) to (D): (A) the total crimp percentage TC is 10-25%, (B) the boiling water shrinkage FS is 4-20%, (C) the breaking tenacity is 2.0 cN/dtex or higher, and (D) the elongation at break is 15-100%.
