摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact displacement control system having high-speed responsiveness and durability which is capable of controlling the displacement of a surface in contact with an object at a low voltage by magnetic field control. SOLUTION: The displacement control system comprises an actuator 105 having a contact part 101 in contact with an object, a magnetic field generation unit 104 for generating a magnetic field, and an expansive motion unit 102 for changing the displacement of the contact part 101 by applying the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation unit 104, and an actuator control unit 106 for controlling the displacement state of the actuator 105. The expansive motion unit 102 is formed of a polymeric material, and has a magnetic part exhibiting the function of alignment in the direction of the magnetic field in response to the application of the magnetic field on a main chain or a side chain of the polymeric material.
