PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and simple structural air bubble separator capable of enhancing an air bubble separating efficiency even in the case of containing minute air bubbles in oil. SOLUTION: This air bubble separator 10, in the centrifugal type air bubble separator for removing air bubbles contained in a fluid, is provided with an approximately cylindrical main body 11, a fluid introducing pipe (an oil introducing pipe 12) installed in the main body and introducing the fluid containing the air bubbles to the inside of the main body, a gas discharging part (a gas discharging pipe 13) installed in the main body and discharging the separated air bubbles to the outside of the main body, and a fluid discharging part (an oil discharging opening 15) installed in the main body and discharging the separated fluid to the outside of the main body. In the inside of the fluid introducing pipe, a revolution means (a helical plate 17) revolving the fluid flowing through the fluid introducing pipe around the axis direction of the fluid introducing pipe.
