PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the purchase cost and management cost of pachinko balls by ridding large boxes containing the pachinko balls obstructing the passage of a player moving in a pachinko parlor and by reducing the number of pachinko balls the pachinko parlor should prepare, and to enable a player to temporarily leave the game machine without throwing up the game machine playing presently. SOLUTION: The pachinko game machine or the like has a card reading/writing device and when a leaving seat switch is pushed, card recognition information is written on the pachinko card inserted in the card reading/writing device, and the pachinko card is ejected. When the pachinko card is reinserted in the card reading/writing device, the card recognition information written on the pachinko card is read, and when the read card recognition information coincides with the written card recognition information, it is judged that the reinserted pachinko card is valid.
