PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance closet which can provide a place, where footwear, etc. can be easily stored and taken out when having a visitor, etc., by forming shelves at any time as needed between an entrance earth floor and the inferior surface of an entrance closet and can maintain good decent appearance in an entrance by allowing the shelves in this rack member to come near the inferior surface in the entrance closet when the shelves are not needed. SOLUTION: In relation to the entrance closet A included in a wall C along the entrance earth floor A, the rack member 20 equipped with the shelve 22 is assembled in a way allowing to adjustingly move in up-and-down directions so as to position the shelf 22 of this rack member 20 at a predetermined height between the inferior surface 10a of the entrance closet A and the entrance earth floor surface A'.
