SHAMPOO COMPOSITION

Disclosed is a shampoo composition comprising (A) a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate, (B) an amphoteric surfactant, (C) a polyglycerin fatty acid ester having an HLB value of 12 or greater, (D) at least one member selected from a cationic polymeric compound and an amphoteric polymeric compound, wherein the [component (A)]/[component (B)] ratio is 1/60 to 3/2 by mass, the total amount of the components (A) and (B) added is 12 to 30 mass%, and the amount of the component (C) added is 1 to 9 mass%. The composition has an ensured preservative property without using any preservative agent such as paraben, benzoic acid or phenoxyethanol, can prevent scalp itch, has a good foaming property, and can prevent the hair tangle during rinsing.
