The arm (3) has a fastening unit (1) for fastening the wiper arm to a windscreen wiper drive (4), and connected with a hinge (2) by a wiper arm hinge (8) comprising a hinge axis (10). A spring operating between the fastening unit and the hinge is a curved clamp spring (11). Clamp spring ends (11.1, 11.2) engage to the fastening unit as well as to the hinge under initial load. A concave side of the spring is turned towards a curvature of the hinge axis.
