<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure steam sterilizer capable of starting an operation in a state where a lid is surely closed by taking account of a safety aspect in the high pressure steam sterilizer having an upper-face opening chamber provided in a sterilizer body, and a lid tightly closing the upper-face opening of the chamber, in a lid housing openably/closably supported to the upper part of the sterilizer body, and sterilizing sterilization objects stored in the chamber under high pressure steam. <P>SOLUTION: This high pressure steam sterilizer is provided with a locking means locking the lid into a tightly closed state by a locking arm, an operation handle for unlocking a locking means, and a lid locking detection switch detecting the locking state of the locking arm; and is constituted not to start the operation when a lid closure detection switch detecting that the lid housing becomes a regular closed state relative to the sterilizer body, is not a lid closure detecting state, when the operation handle locking detection switch is not in the operation handle locking detecting state, or when the lid locking detection switch is not in the locking arm locking detecting state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
