<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid waste of a piping material in additionally installing a hot water storage tank in a hot water storage type water heater. <P>SOLUTION: A water supply pipe 314 for supplying the water to the hot water storage tank is disposed at a lower part of the hot water storage tank 401. One end side of a first connection pipe 321 is connected to a lower portion of the hot storage tank. The first connection pipe is rotatable on the connecting portion. As the first connection pipe is rotatable, the other end side can be connected even to a pipe except for the water supply pipe. When the hot water storage type water heater is singly used, the connecting portion 342 of the first connection pipe is connected to the water supply pipe to form a tank hot water supply circuit from the water supply pipe to a hot water supply opening through the hot water storage tank. When an additional tank 405 is installed, only the connecting portion is disconnected to connect a pipe 355 of the additional tank to the connecting portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
