<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of advantageously manufacturing a cylindrical precision member having no bump defect, and a method of manufacturing a transferred body to which the shape of such roll surface is transferred. <P>SOLUTION: As regards the projecting bump defects formed by a surface treatment such as plating on the surface of a cylindrical member, the method of manufacturing the cylindrical precision member includes: detecting the places of the bump defects by a defect detecting means; irradiating the roll face of the cylindrical member with a machining laser beam from a tangential direction by a machining laser beam irradiation means; and removing the bump defects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
