<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by reducing cutting margins in cutting, in a joint with a hose connected to its one end and a connection apparatus tightened and fixed to its other end. <P>SOLUTION: This joint 10 is provided with, on its one end side, a hose connecting part 12 connecting the hose, in its center part, a hexagonal part 14, and on its other end side, a connection apparatus connecting part 16 tightening and fixing the connection apparatus. The hose connecting part 12, the hexagonal part 14, and the connection apparatus connecting part 16 are made of separate members. The hose connecting part 12 and connection apparatus connecting part 16 are manufactured by cutting round-bar-shaped steel members 50, 70 having different diameters, and the hexagonal part 14 is manufactured by cutting a hexagonal steel member 60.
