PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage level conversion circuit, and to provide a display device that is equipped with the circuit. SOLUTION: A voltage level conversion circuit include a first switching transistor in which a first end is connected to first voltage potential and a control end is connected to an input terminal; a second switching transistor in which the first end is connected to second voltage potential lower than the first voltage potential and the control end is connected to the input terminal; a third switching transistor in which the first end is connected to third voltage potential higher than the first voltage potential; a second end is connected to an output terminal, and the control end is connected to the second end of the second switching transistor; and a fourth switching transistor in which the first end is connected to fourth voltage potential lower than the second voltage potential; the second end is connected to the output terminal; and the control end is connected to the second end of the first switching transistor. A high level input signal of the first voltage potential or a low level input signal of the second voltage potential is applied to the input terminal. An amplified high level output signal of the third voltage potential or an amplified low level output signal of the fourth voltage potential is outputted to the output terminal.
