PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire storage member which can neatly store wires therein serving as a baseboard or a ceiling cornice so as to avoid untidiness of the wires, and facilitates maintenance and change/additional work of the wires by virtue of an openable cover unit. SOLUTION: The wire storage member has a base unit arranged at a corner between an inside wall and a floor or a corner between a wall and a ceiling, and the cover unit for covering the base unit from inside a room, and the former and the latter are connected together so as to form a hollow structure. Herein a contact portion of the cover unit, corresponding to a contact portion at one edge of the base unit, is detached from the same, and a contact portion of the cover unit, corresponding to a contact portion at the other edge of the base unit, is kept in contact with the same, and thus the cover unit is made openable.
