PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric clipper for high twigs comprising a pruning instrument with which an aged person currently tending to be increased in population who has his (her) own house with a garden can readily operate and efficiently do work while standing on the ground without using any stepladders and can be prevented from electric shock, fall and injury, and which is suitable for the aged person, light in weight, sturdy and satisfactory for consumers. SOLUTION: The electric clipper for high twigs is provided with an arm-attached clipper where an arm and a small electric pruning clipper are integrated with each other which is attached to the tip of a rod so that the angle adjustment of the arm is conducted through pulling a string-like material tied at another tip of the arm so as to efficiently prune trees while the person stands on the ground.
