A suspension apparatus for a vehicle is provided to mount a rear shock absorber on a lower end of a side member, add a support to the lower portion of the side member, and attach the pipe nut to the lower end of the side member, so that the capacity of a trunk room is expanded. A rear shock absorber includes side members(10) and a rear shock absorber(11). The side members employ a fuel tank(13) interposed between the side members. The side members are arranged in parallel to each other at the rear two opposition sides of a vehicle. The rear shock absorber is mounted on a lower end of the side member. The side member includes a protrusion part(10a) and a concave part(10b). The rear shock absorber is inserted into the concave part, and is mounted on a support shaft passing through the protrusion part. A pipe nut(17) in the protrusion part is attached to the support shaft. A support(12) is installed in the upper portion of the pipe nut in order to enhance the strength. |
