The bus bar support (10) has a rod shaped base body, which has a number of sections (16), each of which holds a bus bar end. Each section of the base body has two recesses. The later recess extends to the edge of the body, connected at the former recess in the direction defined by the width of the body. The later recess is bigger than the former recess in the direction defined by the width of the base body in two directions. The bus bar end is inserted into the later recess by the bus bar supported in the former recess, and by which a connecting element is located behind the bus bar end. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a fast assembly kit for an electricity meter room (2) an electric meter unit with two electric meter rooms (3) a method for electrical connection of a bus bar of an electric meter room with a bus bar of another electric meter room.
