<p>A stacker crane traveling on a track placed along multiple tier storage shelves and conveying a load between each of the shelves by lifting and lowering a cage, which receives the load, between a set of upright masts. The cage has a main frame on which the load is placed, a pair of side frames (431) arranged respectively on both ends of the main frame, suspended from a drive device by a lifting wire, and lifted and lowered while being in contact with the masts, and cushioning means (49, 413) placed only between either of the side frames (431), which are connected to the main frame, and a connection section where the either the side frames (431) or the main frame are connected. Stress occurring in the cage by a variation in the distance between the masts is reduced without installing a cushioning device between the cage and a roller.</p> |
