METHOD OF ALLOCATION RESOURCE FOR UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL

A resource allocation method for an uplink control channel is provided to allocate uplink resources adaptively according to changes of an amount of feedback information and the number of users existing within a coverage of a base station, thereby efficiently using the resources as increasing communication performance between a terminal and the base station. A user terminal receives control information set by a base station in consideration of system circumstances. Resources of an uplink control channel are allocated according to the received control information. The control information contains at least one of the amount of assigned resources and resource allocation positions. The resource allocation positions contain at least one of a resource distribution method and information indicative of resource areas for sending the uplink control information.
