DISPLAY DRIVER

摘要

A display driver is provided to implement different extension rates of pixel values in still and moving image areas by applying two extension rates in two type areas of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel. A display driver includes a counter(301) and a converting circuit. The counter measures a histogram on display data of one or plural screens and detects the value of the histogram corresponding to predetermined display data. The converting circuit extends or compresses the display data according to the value of the histogram corresponding to the predetermined display data. Rates in the extension or compression of the display data are set on one screen as plural types.
