A connector is provided to reduce the possibility of a contact deficiency and improve contact reliability. A socket(20) includes a plurality of the first connectors(30) formed in parallel at a circumferential portion of an opening. A plug(40) has a planar shape that can be insertedly adjusted into the circumferential portion of the opening of the socket and includes the second connectors(50) in press-fit recesses formed in parallel at positions corresponding to the first connectors. The first connectors are insertedly adjusted into the press-fit recesses such that they can contact with an inner surface of the press-fit recesses. The first contact portions(33), which are formed to overpass the circumferential portion of the opening of the socket and provided at an inner corner portion of press-fit portions(52) supported by the circumferential portion of the opening, are insertedly adjusted such that they can contact with the inner surface of the press-fit recesses of the plug, and elastically contact with the second connectors so as to be electrically connected thereto.
