<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger switch which introduces a lead wire for connecting the trigger switch with an auxiliary device while keeping its bottom surface as small as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The trigger switch 1 is composed of two divided pieces 2a, 2b, and has an insulated case therein so as to receive circuit components, and carries out the speed control of a motor according to the pulled-out amount of a trigger 3. An arrangement passage 32 for the lead wires 10, 11 for connecting the trigger switch 1 with the auxiliary device are provided in an insulating wall 30 for isolating a pair of power terminals 4a, 4b to be connected with an electric power source from each other.
