PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio apparatus which silences a sound of an audio signal when a reception of a mobile telephone exists during inputting the audio signal. SOLUTION: The audio apparatus is provided with an audio signal input portion to input the audio signal, a detector to detect a reception sound or a reception vibration of the mobile telephone and to output a reception information corresponding to the reception sound or the reception vibration, a storage portion to store the reception information of the mobile telephone in advance, a judgement portion to judge that it is the reception when the reception information output by the detector and the reception information stored by the storage portion are compared and they coincide each other, and a controller to silence the sound of the audio signal input by the audio signal input portion in the case that the judgement portion judges that it is the reception while the audio signal input portion inputs the audio signal.
